Red Swan is an ongoing South Korean romance & revenge drama television series written by Choi Yoon-Jung, directed by Park Hong Kyun, and starring Kim Ha Neul and Rain. It premiered on Disney+ on July 3, 2024.
Red Swan Plot
Wan Su reached the top of her sport as a golf player. Dreaming of having a perfect life within the upper class, she marries the successor of the Hawin Group. Now, Wan Su works as the chairperson for a foundation and has gained worldwide fame through her charity work. She has Seo Do Yun as her new bodyguard. Do Yun, who graduated from the police university, excels in the martial arts. He joined the Hwang Group’s security team for a specific reason. Through her bodyguard, Wan Su faces a secret of the Hawin Family.

Red Swan Episode 1 Recap

In the first episode, we see the main female lead heroin her name is Wan Su. firstly, wan Su introduce herself that I am the ambassador of Korea Goodwill and the director of Nov Foundation. After that she introduce a girl and says her name is Balak, the ISIS people killed her family and she has been sexually harassment, so our foundation will help her. If anyone wants to help us in this work, then inform us later. After this Wan Su secretary whose name is Yoon tell her that you are getting death threats from ISIS. should we cancel your next schedule, which is in Malina but Wan su refuses and says that she is going to a party in Manila later on. Yoon also said that Chairwomen Mi Ran will come in party.
in next scene, we see Hawin Group chairwomen Mi Ran who is also wan su mother-in-law. on the other hand, wan su come in Manila for a short interview and here she met Manila crown prince who will donate a big amount to wan su foundation & help Balak. after some time, we see here wan su husband Yong Guk who is Vice Chairman of Hawin Group. He also met with crown prince.
In the upcoming scene, we see the main lead hero his name is Do Yoon. He is in a casino & notice some peoples. After that Do Yoon in a bathroom & here two people talking (Do Yoon notice people) about a policeman who name is Ju Hyuk. One of these two says that a few days ago that policeman was killed in our area, and MR. L name person killed Ju Hyuk & now Mr. L has got some other secret project.
After hearing all this, Do Yoon remembers a flashback scene, where we see Ju Hyuk and other person Mr. L fights with him.

In present scene we see another person who name Kyung Ju is & he has a bag in hand.
Do Yoon enter a dressing room & change his outfit and then enter in a room. in this room Kyung Ju is talking with a person and give his money bag and also said that I am coming from flower shop. Now Do Yoon remember the past scene when Mr. L had killed my friend Ju Hyuk. Later while leaving he was talking on the phone and taking the name of a flower shop.
In the next scene, Kyung Ju calls Do Yoon and asks if he has been in Malina for the last 3 months. He found out something about the killer who killed Joo Hyuk, but he denies it.
On the other hand, Wan Su is coming in a shop to take her necklace, but whenever she comes, at that time a man was aiming on Wansu, there are Do Yoon also nearby, at the same time firing starts here, Do Yoon saves Wan Su and is also firing at the killer, and he knows that this is Mr. L. After that Do Yoon takes wan su from here & she asks him who are you, but he says that I am a traveler and was passing by. Then their car breaks down and while he was fixing the car, he sees the GPS tracker and he is seeing the tracker to wan su, she asks him to call the police, but he refuses and asks him to come to his house & she says yes.

At home, Wansu tells Do Yoon that your hand is hurt but Do Yoon says I am fine. Later he gives his phone to her and asks her to call someone close to her and says that I will take you to the embassy. Then Do Yoon ties a bandage on his hand and Wansu helps him. In the next scene, Wansu comes to the embassy. Yong Guk comes to meet Wansu. Kyung Ju also comes to meet the man who is a witness, but he had already left after later he sees the statement which is written by witness and Do Yoon’ signature is on it.

Later Kyung Ju calls Do Yoon and asks him to meet. In the next scene, both are meeting, and Kyung Ju tells Do Yoon that you should work for the flower shop, then Do Yoon sees Kyung Ju, Kyung Ju says that we should call Hawin group as flower shop, Do Yoon also says that it is okay, on the other hand, Mi Ran also asks to give Wansu money bag to the Chinese person but she refuses. In the upcoming scene, we see Yoon who comes to Wansu and says that preparations for the press conference are done, Yong Guk is nearby and asks what are you going to hold a press conference? Do you want to tell everyone that you are being attacked? Wansu says yes. Later, Wansu comes to the press conference and talks about the attack. Later Mohan meets a girl here whose name is Tae Ra.
Red Swan Episode 1 Ending
At the end of the episode, we see Wansu and Yong Guk are going for party. Kyung Ju and Do Yoon are in front of the part that is coming. At that time, Kyung Ju introduce Do Yoon to them and Wansu sees Do Yoon. And later, the episode ends.

Red Swan Episode 1 Review
I liked this episode a bit. I also saw the chemistry between Wansu and Do Yoon. when Wansu and Do Yoon were being fired upon. I enjoyed that too. We will meet soon in the next episode. Till then stay connected with us.
