Red Swan is an ongoing South Korean romance & revenge drama television series written by Choi Yoon Jung, directed by Park Hong Kyun, and starring Kim Ha Neul and Rain. It premiered on Disney+ on July 3, 2024.

Red Swan Episode 8 Recap
In the beginning of episode 8, we see Do Yoon fighting with Lee Jin. He stabs him and throws him in the water and later leaves with the boat. In the next scene, Yeong Guk also runs to the resort and all the stuff is scattered here. Next morning, Do Yoon wakes up and Wan Soo is in front of her. Do Yoon asks Wan Soo if he is okay. Wan Soo says I am fine. Now both finally kiss.

Next morning, Wan Soo was sleeping and was touching Yeong Guk leg. After waking up, Yeong Guk asks Wan Soo if you both were together. Wan Soo says that you did not come here last night, so Do Yoon was with me, and I was attacked. Yeong Guk asks whose work was this, but Wan Soo says that it is important to know who gave the order to attack. Later, Wan Soo and Yeong Guk were doing a photoshoot. Wan Soo also recalls a scene where she was putting bandages on Do Yoon’s body, and they talked about who might have ordered the attack. Wans Soo asks if this was Mi Ran’s doing but Do Yoon says I don’t think so. I have ledgers, if they had killed me then Mi Ran would not have got the ledgers. Maybe this was Yong Min’s doing. You ask Yeong Guk two questions in the photoshoot, first is whether Yong Min has any illegitimate affairs, and second question is do you know how your father died. Wan Soo later asks Yeong Guk these two questions and also says did you ever think about your father being murdered.

In the next scene, Sang Gil is showing Mi Ran the photos of Wan Soo’s affair. Mi Ran says to leak them. Sang Gil says there is a problem, a policeman died while he was investigating Du O’s death, and that policeman was Do Yoon’s friend. Mi Ran asks how the policeman die did, did you kill him. But Sang Gil refuses. Mi Ran asks to leak the photos. Later Sang Gil comes out and sees that Wan Soo is still alive. Later Sang Gil comes to Lee Jin and beats her and says why did you not do your work properly. You have been killing people with a knife for 13 years. If you do not do your work properly this time, I will send you back to where I brought you from. In the next scene, Tae Ra also leaves the house and tells her mother that I do not want to stay here, no one loves me here.

In the next scene, Hyun Soo was also released and was talking to Sang Gil. Sang Gil says now give me all the proofs as you promised to give, and I have one condition too that Do Yoon has taken the ledgers from him, and you bring the ledgers to me. In the next scene Hyun Soo does the same and earlier he was scolding Do Yoon for why you are dating my sister and bring the ledgers to me. Do Yoon says I have read the ledgers, if they become public then Mi Ran will be jailed. All this has been done by Sang Gil, he wants to take over Hwain Group.
In the next scene, Yeong Guk was asking her mother what all this is. Did you follow Wan Soo so that you can take his photos. Mi Ran says that I did this. Because I suspected that both of them were having an affair. And I have also done all this so that you can divorce Wan Soo. But Yeong Guk says that I will not divorce Wan Soo. Yeong Guk now comes to his room and remembers some flashback scenes where he had molested Wan Soo and also went to meet Wan Soo when his mother died. In one scene, he also tells Wan Soo that your mother had died but you did not tell me. You did the same when your son died. Why are you bearing all this alone. Can’t we be together again, but Wan Soo refuses.

Red Swan Episode 8 Ending
In the next scene, Do Yoon comes to Sang Gil’s room and takes documents from the locker with the help of a hidden camera and now he comes to know that Yong Min is Sang Gil’s son. In the next scene, Sang Gil arrives here, and Yeong Guk comes to meet him and tells him that I know that Yong Min is your son, that’s why my parents hated Yong Min. You are just a servant who slept with my mother, so your son also knows that you are his father, but he is pretending not to know. If you do anything to Wan Soo, I will kill both of you. In the next scene, Yoon tells Wan Soo that Yeong Guk has captured Do Yoon. Young Gul brought a rifle in front of Do Yoon and was asking why you have come here. Do Yoon tells everything from starting to the end, but Yeong Guk does not believe his words, but then Wan Soo comes here and saves Do Yoon. And she tells Yeong Guk that he is telling the truth, Do Yoon will find your father’s murderer, let him do his work. Yeong Guk asks Wans Soo if you love him, Wan Soo says yes. In the next scene, Sang Gil remembers a scene where Chairman Du O tells him that I know that Yong Min is your son. But there is nothing for him in my will. In the present, Sang Gil calls Yong Gil and tells that a lawyer has come from New York to disclose Du O’s will. At the same time, Wan Soo also tells herself that today that day has come, till this day Du O had asked me to remain a member of Hwain Group. Now I am free. In the end of the episode, the family members are together. The lawyer was reading this will and 18 trillion won will be donated to the foundation. Everyone gets shocked to hear this, but Yeong Guk was smiling. Now this money is in a bank in Switzerland which only Wan Soo can withdraw.

Red Swan Episode 8 Review
The episode was very interesting. I liked Yeong Guk character in it. By watching Yeong Guk’s scenes in this episode, we can say that he is a good person. Now they cannot kill Wan Soo as only he can withdraw the money from the bank.
