The Auditors is an ongoing South Korean television series written by Choi Min Ho, co-directed by Kwon Young Il and Joo Sang Gyu, and starring Shin Ha Kyun, Lee Jung Ha, Jin Goo and Jo A Ram. It premiered on tvN on July 6, 2024, and airs every Saturday and Sunday at 21:20 KST.
The Auditors Plot
Shin Cha Il begins work as the leader of the audit team at JU Construction, where corruption runs rampant. Shin Cha Il doesn’t have faith in other people. He has a cool demeanor and carries out his work with sharp judgment and decisive action. The audit team also includes rookie employee Gu Han Soo. He initially applied for the audit team as a steppingstone to get transferred to his company’s Florida branch, but his plan was not easy because of Shin Cha Il. Unlike his boss, Gu Han Soo is a nice and warm-hearted person. Working with Shin Cha Il, Gu Han Soo grows as an audit team member.
Meanwhile, Hwang Dae Woong is the vice president of JU Construction, and he is the third son of the company’s founder. His ambition is to become the president of the company by beating his two older brothers for the position.
Yoon Seo Jin is also a rookie employee on the audit team at JU Construction. She is an individualist who aims for success. She has a totally opposite personality from Goo Han Soo. She has also known Vice President Hwang Dae Woong since she was a child, but they pretend that they don’t know each other at work.

The Auditors Episode 3 Recap
At the beginning of episode 3, we see Cha Il telling the audit team that people are protesting outside because they were shown dreams about the housing project, but the union representative, whose name has Chang Sik, took their money. Cha I say that first we have to talk to the head of the housing team who has approved this project. And this project comes under Ju Construction.

In the next scene, the head of the housing team comes here for interview, whose name is Mi Kyung. Mi Kyung takes his name after seeing Cha Il. Now the audit team was watching Cha Il. Cha Il is taken Mi Kyung for interview. The audit team asks outside whether these two had done the date earlier. Cha Il is Mi Kyung says that Chang Sik did the embezzlement and you were the one who gave him permission for the project. Mi Kyung says I should have reviewed the project properly, this is all my mistake. Mi Kyung now asks Cha Il how you are. Cha Il say that we are conducting an interview so don’t talk about personal matters. But Mi Kyung started crying and said that now I cannot do any more interview, postpone the interview.
In the next scene, Cha Il, Seo Jin and Han Soo come to meet Chang Sik. there is Mr. Kim and with him two children who go to Seo Jin. Seo Ji asks Mr. Kim where Chang Sil lives. now Cha Il comes to Chang Sik house but there is no Chang Sikh. Mr. Kim was also showing a video on his phone and in the video, we can see that Chang Sik was carrying a bag full of money. Secondly, Gyeong Seok also tells Jae Seong that Mi Kyung and Cha Il dated first. And later Jae Seong tells this to Dae Woong.

In the next scene, Seo Jin was asking Cha Il that if Chang Sik spent the money, then who will give the money. But he says that money will have to be given for the construction. Cha Il sees Min Kyung here and comes near him and takes him to the bar. Han Soo and Seo Jin were chasing them. Even in the bar, Cha Il was interviewing Mi Kyung and asking whether she had taken the money. Mi Kyung says why would I do this? Are you doubting me? Cha Il saying that you want to go to Florida branch in America, so that is why you did this. But Mi Kyung says that I have divorced, and I am only telling this to you. Mi Kyung later comes to her home, but the falls down and Cha Il helps her and takes her in apartment. Han Soo is watching all this. Cha Il is in the elevator with Mi Kyung and remembers the scene from college days where both of them were studying together.
Next morning Han Soo would have known when I was with Cha Il & I was under the influence of alcohol last night then I did wrong thing with Cha Il. In the next scene, the audit team sees a news that Mi Kyung has blamed Cha Il of sexual assault. There are also some night photos of both of them. Cha Il was under investigation and was being asked whether you had done this, but Cha Il denies it. Se Woong also gives Cha Il one weeks’ time and asks him to solve the problem if not then after one week Mi Kyung will be sent to the branch in America.
In the next scene, Cha Il talks to Seo Jin and Han Soo and says that I know that you were following me last night, did you see anyone there who took my photo. But both of them refuse. Later these teens came to their place from where the photos were taken. But a man comes here, his name is Myung Chul, and he says that I took those photos, and you should stay away from my wife. On the other hand, Dae Woong was threatening Seo Woong and asking him to handle Mi Kyung’s case himself.

In the next scene, Cha Il comes to Mi Kyung’s office and collects his data. Han Soo and Seo Jin also come to the hospital and ask Mi Kyung why you blamed Cha Il for the sexual assault. Mi Kyung says that my husband had threatened me to do this. please forgive me for this. Later Han Soo talk about this to Cha Il things but he says that Mi Kyung is lying, she is just misleading the audit team. Cha Il now checks Mi Kyung’s browsing history, and he comes to know about a club and Cha Il had seen the logo of this club at Chang Sik’s house. In the next scene, Cha Il and his team come to the club and there are also some photos in which Chang Sik and Mi Kyung are together. Cha Il finds out that Mi Kyung and Chang Sik both planned to take money from the housing project here.
Cha Il ask the club president where Chang Sik is, the club president tells him Chang Sik’s address. And later they catch Chang Sik and take him to the police station. All the protesters are here. Mr. Kim is brought home by Seo Jin and Han Soo and the kids have to wipe off the dirt here. Seo Jin asks him whether you are going to feed the dog. One of the girls said that she had saved the dog, but the man said that he would kill the dog. These dogs live at Chang Sikh’s house and the kids go to feed the dogs. Han Soo later sees Myung Chul’s photo and asks if this man is him, the kids say yes.

The Auditors Episode 3 Ending
In the next scene, Cha Il was also investigating with Chang Sik. Han Soo calls Cha Il and tells him that the kids saw Myung Chul at Chang Sik’s house. In the next scene, Mi Kyung was also ready to go to America but then Cha Il comes to her and asks her for an interview. Later in the interview, Cha ll was told that we have found out where the money is. Your husband has taken that money, and we are witnesses to this too, kids, they had seen your husband when he was taking money from the house of Chang Sik. Cha Il later comes to Se Woong to report it. But Se Woong says that you will have to report this to Dae Woong. Jae Seong also comes near Mi Kyung and is taking him from here. Han Soo later calls Cha Il and informs him about Mi Kyung. Dae Woong also comes to Cha Il and asks why you not reported to me. Cha Il says that there has been an emblazoning, but Dae Woong says that Mi Kyung will be sent to the Ameria branch and the story will end, you cannot go against me. But Cha Il calls Han Soo and asks him to stop Mi Kyung from going to the airport. Dae Woong now tells Cha Il that you are being fired from your job.

The Auditors Episode 3 Review
I liked the episode. Cha Il has found out the truth about Mi Kyung. What Han Soo did with Cha Il after drinking alcohol was also funny.
