The Auditors is an ongoing South Korean television series written by Choi Min Ho, co-directed by Kwon Young Il and Joo Sang Gyu, and starring Shin Ha Kyun, Lee Jung Ha, Jin Goo and Jo A Ram. It premiered on tvN on July 6, 2024, and airs every Saturday and Sunday at 21:20 KST.
The Auditors Plot
Shin Cha Il begins work as the leader of the audit team at JU Construction, where corruption runs rampant. Shin Cha Il doesn’t have faith in other people. He has a cool demeanor and carries out his work with sharp judgment and decisive action. The audit team also includes rookie employee Gu Han Soo. He initially applied for the audit team as a steppingstone to get transferred to his company’s Florida branch, but his plan was not easy because of Shin Cha Il. Unlike his boss, Gu Han Soo is a nice and warm-hearted person. Working with Shin Cha Il, Gu Han Soo grows as an audit team member.
Meanwhile, Hwang Dae Woong is the vice president of JU Construction, and he is the third son of the company’s founder. His ambition is to become the president of the company by beating his two older brothers for the position.
Yoon Seo Jin is also a rookie employee on the audit team at JU Construction. She is an individualist who aims for success. She has a totally opposite personality from Goo Han Soo. She has also known Vice President Hwang Dae Woong since she was a child, but they pretend that they don’t know each other at work.

The Auditors Episode 4 Recap
In the beginning of episode 4 of The Auditors, we see Han Soo coming out in front of the car and stopping Mi Kyung from going to the airport. Dae Woong also tells Se Woong that I have fired Cha Il from his job. But Woong says that you cannot do this. I have only given you the right to the Audit team, not to fire them. In the next scene, Cha Il takes Mi Kyung to the police station. The audit team is also going to eat food, but Seo Jin remembers the scene of Dae Woong. In the next scene, Mi Kyung comes out of the police station and tells Cha Il that Chang Sik said that I did everything alone. Cha Il see a lawyer here who was talking to the detective. After this he get a call from Dae Woong. Cha Il tells Dae Woong that I will audit you because you are the one who sent the lawyer here and made the settlement. Dae Woong tells Cha Il that I will give you 3 days until then Mi Kyung will not go to America, and you will have to bring back the money in 3 days otherwise you should submit your resignation. Cha Il says ok.

After all, Cha Il comes to Myung Chul and ask where money is. But Myung Chul says that I don’t understand what you are talking about. In next scene, Cha Il asks the audit team to talk to the workers at the construction site. Han Soo or Seo Jin come to the site or talk to the worker. Secondly, Dae Woong tells his brother Se Woong that I have given Cha Il 3 days to find the money, after which he will have to resign. In the next scene, Cha Il come again to Myung Chul. Here Cha Il sees that Myung Chul has received a call from someone.
Later Han Soo told Cha Il that the workers at the construction site were given simple food every day but, on this day, they were given cash. Cha Il later asked them which person works in Myung Chul’s team. Cha Il hear the name here or notice the name that is Yeon Ji.
Cha Il remembers that scene when a phone call came to Myung Chul and that call from Yeon Ji. She works in the finance department. Cha Il now found out that Myung Chul or Yeon Ji are with both of them or Yeon Ji must have changed Myung Chul’s money or the money that was Myung Chul’s was given to his worker because the money was on the serial number with whose help we got the money. It can be tracked but now the money belongs to the worker so it will not happen now.

Han Soo checks Myung Chul or Yeon Ji’s social account and finds out that both of them are dating. Cha Il tells Mi Kyung about the date or says that your husband is cheating on you. But Mi Kyung did not believe his words. In next scene, two track drivers are following Cha Il’s car. Han Soo or Seo Jin is following Yeon Ji’s car. Yeon Ji met Myung Chul, or the main truck driver was also here. Han Soo and Seo Jin also there and watching them.
In the next scene, Myung Chul or Yeon Ji have come out of the hotel and are kissing. Han Soo has taken this picture. Dae Woong also tells Cha Il that now you should resign but Cha Il says that he still has some time left. Dae Woong also remembers the scene where he took away Mi Kyung’s phone or told her to hide. In next scene, audit team searches for Mi Kyung but they do not find Mi Kyung. Then a message comes to Cha Il phone and containing Mi Kyun’s location.

Cha Il now meets Mi Kyung or shows Myung Chul’s kissing photo. Cha Il says that your husband is cheating on you. Myung Chul will go to America with Yeon Ji, or they will charge you with money laundering.
So, tell us where the money is. Mi Kyung has told me the truth. Cha Il later calls Han Soo or tells him to go to this place because there is a housing project contract.
Now Han Soo come to this place, and he has taken the contract but then Myung Chul comes here or beats him or takes the contract.

The Auditors Episode 4 Ending
Now Han Soo & Seo Jin are following Myung Chul. and they call to Cha Il & talk about Myung Chul. After they caught Myung Chul, but he has no money or says that has fooled everyone.
In next scene Mi Kyung at the airport but then Cha Il arrives there and stops her from going. Outside the airport the police also checked the trunk of the car, there was a bag of money.
Cha Il later reports his work to Dae Woong. Se Woong met Cha Il outside the office and told him that I had sent Mi Kyung’s location to you.

In next scene, Han Soo took Mr. Kim, or the children have come to their mother’s chicken restaurant, or they are enjoying it because now Mr. Kim or another person has got their money. Mi Kyung has also been put in jail. Seo Jin met Dae Woong and said that I have helped the audit team so that we can get the money. Dae Woong says you have done a good job. Seo Jin asks then why you said that we don’t look for money. Seo Ji calls Dae Woong uncle.
In the last scene, a post has come to Cha Il in which he was asked to audit the people running the dining hall of JU Construction. At one place, workers were eating in a dining hall, and something happened to them. Cha Il come to his dining hall, or he has stopped everyone from eating.

The Auditors Episode 4 Review
The episode is very interesting especially as Seo Jin starts suspecting Dae Woong that he too may be involved in something like money laundering. But I don’t know why Seo Jin called Dae Woong uncle. If you find out about this then please tell in the comment.
